The TV series LOST

I watched the complete series of LOST. If you have seen this series, I bet you were left as confused as I am. I really live the series, but do t understand it. Like how dead is DEAD? they apparently all died in the plane crash on that island, yet Claire is pregnant and delivers her baby. The black woman with cancer is healed, and she hand her dentist husband live happily by themselves on the island, the crippled man, John Locke, can walk now. The very last episode the doctor sees his dead father alive and well. Then his father tells him that he is also dead, and that everyone who met at the church are also dead. There seems to be an ternate universe, because there are scenes where they are all in their regular lives which have nothing to do with the island and the crash. If anyone can help me understand the concept of LOST, let's hear from you. What is your favorite scene of Lost? Mine is when Hurley is always looking for something to eat. He's such a cute character. He's about 350 pounds, but can run so fast. He was so funny. His favorite word was "Dude". I also liked Kate. She was in handcuffs and the property of the marshal on the plane. The plane crashes and the marshal is mortally wounded. He dies on the island, but tells Dr Shepherd not to trust her. Yet she was one of the most helpful on the island. Yet we find out they are all dead? They eat, carry guns and protect themselves from being killed by the 'Other's' when they are supposedly already dead. There is reference that the island was actually hell. So, what is your take on Lost? It's a great story. I laughed and cried in it, and got mad at the smoke monster when it took the form of John Locke after he was murdered on the island. Can anyone explain this dead/living paradox where they seem to be living in two existences?

I remember about the alternate worlds but I thought at one point that it was one of their dreams. Hurley was great. I guess my favorite scenes were when he was getting that volkswagen bus out of the brush and it went down the hill. I was liked Kate too. It was a very interesting series and really kept me wondering throughout how they were going to tie things up at the end. I was rather disappointed.

I think as long as they were on the island they were okay even though they kept time traveling and such. Isn't that how you saw it? I would think they were still alive.

Yes they were in alternate universes, and yes it's plural there are lots of them. They have also gone time traveling. I all had something to do with that magnetic field which drew them on the island. A lot of things are really confusing and many fans were disappointed by the final season. My favorite character was James Ford or more popularly known as Sawyer. He was the anti-hero of the series but deep inside he was a sensitive man.

Yes, Sawyer was awesome. He liked "Freckles" a lot, but fell in love with the lady doctor. I was crying so bad when she was pulled down into that hole. Then I was so happy when the found each other in the present universe and they roughed and remembered each other. I loved it and I'm going to watch the whole series again. I have it on Netflix.

I understand why you are confused, there are many flashed back in time by different person, so the story look like there are two universe, one is the present and future dimension; another is the past dimension. It is quite confusing if the viewer is trying to figure out what is actually happening, instead of go along with the different character own experience in the past and present or future. I will say it is a badly scripted movie and most probably only the director and the script writter can fully understand the whole movie and the rest of the us will have difficulty keep up with the entire episode. Before we finish watching the whole movie, we probably are 'lost' half or quarter way through the whole movie than the actor and actress playing it. It seem like the movie maker main intention is to prolong the movie by all means in order to keep it going for many months and even year before the viewer can reach the end of a movie story. I can't think of a favorite scene in the movie, it is getting too meaningless and senseless when the movie is only half way done.

I'm watching the series again on Netflix. Even though I don't understand the dual universes, I still love the series.

I've only seen a few episodes here and there...I really want to start from the beginning and watch the entire series. The few episodes I saw were really confusing because I just sort of jumped into watching the series right in the middle. When I do start this series I think I'll really have to pay attention so I can understand everything that goes on in that show.

I watched the whole series in about 2 weeks. It was awesome, but still confusing.
