Another story in ACCUSED happened with a family, whose only kid was killed in an accident in a plant. The poor boy was killed when he was operating a tractor in a morning. The boss claimed that the boy and his partner have taken a two-hours training on site, and the death of the boy can only be accounted for his losing attention when having the training. But the mother felt instinctly it's the not the truth, and she felt it was the boss who should be responsible for her child's death. She went to ask her son's partner for help but he dared not to tell the truth for the boss gave him a permanent position after the accident to cover all the things. But under the begging by the mother and the friendship between them, and he finally decided to tell the truth. So the mother demanded for a lawsuit, failed for several times finally. In her mind, the law is unfair to her, and she didn't not want to give up, so in her own ways she burned the plant regardless of any hurts or deaths. In the end, the monther was caught and she demanded no lawyer but with her own testimony on the court. In the middle, his husband, the boy's father just disguised himself as a crown entering the court to show his irrespects to the misjudgingment, prevented by the police on site. All his doing and the mother's talk seems to touch the judgers, and to everyone's surprise, the mother was released with NO GUILTY. Maybe the last time the court showed its fairness. Generally, the law symbolies the justice. But the law was made by people, thus existing some kinds of loops. On the other hand, under the temptation of the money and position, many of us cannot always keep in justice all the time. We feel sory for the monther's experience but was happy for her release. I think her release was not accounted for the reason that the judgers were touched but they felt we needed to be in justice. We hope such tragedy will not continue, but how to keep in justice to eveyone no matter what the position he stays and how much money he carries??
