Haggis!

I was in Edinburgh, Scotland last week. Of course I couldn't miss one of their most famous dishes, haggis. If any of you haven't heard about it, it's a mixture of sheep heart, lungs, liver and fat, all cut to small pieces, seasoned and cooked inside a stomach. Served with whiskey sauce, neeps and tatties. Something like that at least. If there are any scottish people there please excuse me if i missed some ingredients! :) As disgusting as it may sound, both me and my fiancee loved the taste of it. We were really surprised actually, as we were expecting to hate it at first place. All in all, thumbs up for the stottish! :)

So pleased that you enjoyed your haggis, I have only had haggis once and that was so many years ago now. I don't eat meat anymore but I have heard that you can now get a veggie haggis, I don't know if anyone on mylot has tried a veggie haggis
