I am from Denmark and if you have any questions about practical things or other things related to your trip I just let me know and I will be happy to help you. The Danish weather is quite cold from October to March or April. We usually get snow in the winter especially in December, January and February. Sometimes there is still snow in April, it does not happen that often. The best time to visit Denmark is between May and September. In July and August the weather is usually (but not always) quite pleasant and sunny, but there are many other tourists around that time and so you need to book accomodation in advance. It is a good idea to bring an umbrella and a jacket (the evenings are cold even in summer)

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Glad to hear about your trip and i am sure u will have a great time with your husband. i had been to Paris and Switzerland and own tour guide said that weather changes frequently especially in Europe and hence i would like u to carry all sorts of clothes so that u guys do not suffer during the trip. Be aware of your belongings, be friendly with the local people and try avoiding more expenditure as most of the things are quite expensive. What say?

Hello. It is best to visit Europe in the spring or summer. Spring is from March to May and summer is from June to August. In August the weather in Denmark is best but there might be many tourists. Yes, it can be cold year round in Denmark but the summer is the nicest time to travel. You might be able to visit Germany, Norway or Sweden because they are close to Denmark. I visited Denmark in 1990 on my trip around Europe and I liked seeing its capital city. It was rainy indeed and not so warm. I also visited Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Belgium, Austria and Hungary. I stayed in youth hostels. I hope you and your husband will have a lovely time in Denmark and any other countries in Europe.
