Do you believe in happiness?

I put and answer to this question quite often lately with my friends. And I would like to know also your opinion about. :) So, do you believe in happiness? And when I say happiness, I don't want to talk about small things that can make everybody's life better for a moment, but about a constant state of being that characterize all the actions and moods of somebody. If you believe that happiness is real and people can achieve it... Do you think you are happy? Or that you know what you should do in order to be? Just a thought... You can think you will be happy if something happens, like if you fall in love or have that great job, and this happens, but you discover that there are still bad things, one of them related to the goal you reached. But you still hope you will be happy if something else happens. You always hope of an ideal that never seem to come... Isn't the rush for happiness one of the reasons you get even more far of the state you starve for?
