Did you ever have true love? Or 'the one'? If so, are you still with them?

I don't know how to answer my own question. I am in a relationship now, but I don't feel it's my true love. I think I had that when I was alot younger.

I did find my true love, but unfortunately we weren't able to make things possible for us. It was like the two of us against the world. I do think about him every mow and then and I am so glad that I have overcome that "crying" phase. Well, we do not get everything that we want and so I jut let it be. We may not have make it this lifetime....maybe by the next lifetime? who knows?

I know how you feel. I was in that same situaton. I 'found' him and it was wonderful! Unfortunately, his family had money and his mother didn't want us together and ultimately caused us to split up. That was 30 years ago and I still think about him.

This makes me go thinking. If that past love is the one that we refer as being our true love, how come we did not end up with them? It was true love but then what? Why can't true love end in a happy ending?

Maybe the lesson here is that you shouldn't let anytning come between you, at least give yourselves the chance.

I believe that me and my husband are true loves and we where meant for each other. Some how we have found away to be together even after going to college and coming back.

My husband and I are definitely meant for each other, he is my one true love in life. =) I am so glad I found him. When you know you just know. There will be no question in your mind when you find the right person.

Unfortunately I haven't found my one true love, my 'one'. Don't know if I ever will but I guess until we are alive, we should not lose hope. that somewhere, somehow, we will be able to meet our true love whom we will be with happily for the rest of our lives.

True love? If you'd ask me a year ago, I may not be able to answer that so surely. But now, I am in love with someone, and we both know that it is true love. But due to the complicated situation, we prefer to wait until the right time comes. I think aside from the feeling that you are compatible with each other, true love happens if you make it happen. Both of you have to work hand in hand to make yourselves meant to be. True love can wait. If you really love a person, you can sacrifice, and time is meaningless.
What makes me believe that it's true love? I just know.. and I feel it like I never had that feeling before. :-)

I think time will tell whether someone is in your hand today is your true love or not. You have to be patient and learn each other character, so every time that you spent together you can feel if you want to be with him any longer, and for good or not.

I also was in relationships without feeling my partner is the true love of my life. But now I can certanly say I find it. :) We have 2 years since we are together and we are loving each other a lot. We share the same values about life, we trust each other (and don't feel the temptation of gealousy because of it) and even if we sometimes fight we try not to hurt the other feelings and reach the best solution for both.
Anyway, the feeling that you found the soulmate comes if both partners feel it. Platonic love can be the most intense type of feeling (you love him/her instead all the odds and evidences, so it should be really powerfull)but true love is a game for two.

if you don't feel it's not your true love,I think you'rd better leave him or she...I was very regret now after married with my husband which he is not my true love.....
I found I have falled in love with other guys but..I have married.I don't know how to go on my life...Who can tell me
