College degree: A necessity?

Well, basically we are doing a research about college degree as a necessity for most of us. Our teacher asked us to look for materials, opinions, or any other form of source to verify that this topic is searchable and a social issue nowadays.
I am asking for suggestion, comments, opinions and even personal experience with regards to this topic. Anything would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance fellow mylotters.

for me college degree is very necessary especially today,even though three year course or two year course could have their work,but now a days company will only regular their employee if they are graduated in four year course.so three year courses don't have this kind of regularization.

It is necessary. Not only because it can bring you certificate, it also can make you be a better person. I don't mean people who don't go to college are not that good, I just say when you go to college, you can have a different view and attitude.

Yes it is necessary. Many who graduated are jobless because of wrong choice of studies. Most are underemployed because of wrong choice of job. If they were graduates why is it difficult for them to look for a job? and all the more it will be even harder for those who have not graduated. So finish your thesis to have a degree.
