Hi mylotters, I have a baby of six months old and he is very healthy. Now a days I notice that one side of his head is flat and other side of the head is round. Is any problem with it? How can I bring his head in good shape. please help me.

I also have a baby 8 months old now, well speaking of the shape of his head, you must often change the position of your baby, if he sleeps sidewards at the right, then after sometime change him to the left so that the shape of his head will balance. since the head of the baby is too soft so it will really affect the shape of the head with the position he has while sleeping.

well i think it has something to do with the baby's positioning while sleeping or while laying down. you should like turn the baby's head once in a while so the head will be equally shaped and not flat on the other side and more round on the other side. i am just not sure if this still applies to a 6 month old baby because by then probably his head or skull fontanels are already in the process of closing and it has been harder...

Hi there. I think it is because of the position of his head while he is sleeping. I think it is best if you will ask your doctor what's the best thing to do about it. But for immediate remedy, I will advice you to position your baby's head while he was lying in the side where it's not really flat. Hope it helps.

You have to move your baby in different position when sleeping or when she is in bed so his head will be proportioned. It is because of her sleeping position it's always on the other side that's why it is flat. You have to move his head sometimes if he is always lay down on the other side. And maybe you didn't put a cap on his head since he is born it helps shape up the head.
