Perfect Moment

Don't wait for a perfect moment... take the moment and make it perfect. Such a wonderful description of everyday doubts and confusion. Everytime we have to make decisions on something big like marriage, new job or getting into a relationship we halt and hold for awhile and we think, is this the perfect moment? Until finally we missed already the opportunity of a new life, too sad when we regret saying.. "i should have gotten that job if I just had the courage to accept it". "Now, I should have been celebrating with the person I love if I just didn't take time to wait for the perfect moment" Why not make each moment a perfect one if we can.... What do you think? Are you the type of person who waits of the perfect moment? Once in your life have you waited for a perfect moment until finally you've realized that its through?

@Mavic123456 I have missed a lot of opportunities due to a few reasons. I do think it's ok to sit back and think about things for awhile because not every opportunity that sounds good at the time ends up being good. But yes I do believe otherwise, that figuring it out soon as possible is best so we don't miss out on what could be good.

@VivaLaDani13 Of course you know this I am glad and I also appreciate that you are OK with my words. Sometimes I am getting too comfortable.. but I know you will tell me if I am going beyond my limits. ok? Maybe this is also a part of being a teacher and old woman at the same time.

@Mavic123456 Thank you so much for saying that. I am ok! But I think I just needed to be told this at this very moment! So thank you!

Yes, I do agree with you. We are always waiting for the perfect moment where in fact this time should be the most perfect time.If we wait, we just be impatient and this present would not be enjoyed anymore. I, myself, isn't perfect but I can make this momenta perfect time to be happy and worth memorable in the future.

There's no such thing as perfect for me. I live by the principle that if I want something, I'll go for it. If I need to do something, I'll do it today if I can. You'll never know if you'd still be here the day after tomorrow so how would you be able to wait for that perfect moment right?

Hey Mavic, It's moments like the ones you mentioned plagues everyone's minds. Recently a very good friend of mine that I grew up with confessed to me that he had liked me since high school. After telling him that I'm with my bf, he wished that he could have told me sooner. Suffice to say, I too had liked him since high school, but my shyness got in the way and it never happened. Moments like that make me think, what if? I know it happens to everyone else. Sometimes it makes me a little sad, but I look at it now and say to myself, be grateful for what you have in front of you. It's all chance.

Yes, you should have grabbed the chance, but hey why cry over a spilt milk. just learn how to hold the glass next time so you wont spill it again. And that's it. What if... then if... and we wil... all left hanging and all left unanswered because of waiting for a perfect moment.

In my case yes i have felt sorry that perfect moment had gone and ended. If i had strive more when i was a bit younger if had been so strong to apply in abroad maybe tjis time i had already have a good job there and had already saved alot of money. If i just mingle more and not be too picky on guys courting me maybe i already had my family and raising some kids already. But what more else to do instead of telling myself and feel sorry that i had wasted so many precious moments i cannot bring back the time that had wasted. Its already end. NOW i should tell myself and do something more to myself to be more happy and have a more meaningful life.

That depends on what situation we are waiting for. There are situation that we need perfect timing- and there are moments that we can make it perfect thu it looks disappointing. So, it all depends on the person and how people can handle every situation.

I agree with you.So many people think that they should wait for the perfect moment for so many things. If we do this we will often miss out on a lot in our life. We should make good moments and memories with those who are important in our life. We should also go for opportunities that present themselves in our life. We will be happy that we do this.

thanks for agreeing Dominique, it is like we are indeed be vigilant and attentive to what is life is offering us. Waiting for a perfect moment makes it so easy and no thrill. Not doing anything to achieve it because it is already perfect.

In our life we wonder what is the right moment to love. There is always the question of, "Are we ready for it?" For sure, it is all against the consequences to give love to someone.

Yes, and there is really a matter of acceptance and contentment. Are you happy with this kind of event or you want something more... make it more perfect. I cake to me might just be a pancake to you... and I say, this is a delicious cake you will say no it is just a pancake.
