Christmas is just around the corner and being in a country where people dont celebrate Christmas,i almost have forgotten how it feels like to celebrate this very special occasion.I remember when i first came here the first thing my lady boss said to me was "we dont celebrate Christmas here".I really missed Christmas seasons back in my hometown, very cold weather, getting up in the morning to go to church to attend "simbang gabi" was so hard because you are freezing, those grass and plants all over the place filled with water dew,the scent of the fields, children laughing,Christmas carols echoing the whole town and those people who will greet you with smiles on their face.It feels like heaven.Everybody is happy, especially those kids who are coming to receive their gifts, you can tell by the look in their eyes how happy they are. This Christmas,i will be in my room again, perhaps sleep early and try not to remember how special the occasion is because i dont wanna be sad.But i would definitely say a prayer and keep hope in my heart that i will be receiving a special gift from God this time.I never have received any gifts for Christmas from someone, even loved ones, but everytime,on this occasion,i keep wishing that GOd will give me new hope and brighter next year. And this time,if i am to ask one special gift that would be new career, new opportunity so that i could start making my plans putting into reality. And of course,i also wish God will give me someone who will love me and spend the rest of our lives together. How about you guys what Christmas gift do you want to receive this Christmas?

So sorry to hear that you don't get to celebrate Christmas from where you are right now. Well, since Christmas is just around the corner, and gift-giving is inevitable, I would prefer to have something that can't be bought or made and that is something that I would really like to happen. I wish for a little longer life to be with my loved ones and to be able to fulfill my purpose because I know that my time is not that long because of my sickness. Good thing that I know what to expect so I treat each day as Christmas. Hope you'll have a wonderful Christmas too. Cheers!

Thank you so much graysky. People like you motivates me to continue my journey in this lifetime. I am also blessed to have you. You cannot hug me physically but I feel your sincere intentions and it is enough for me to know that someone like you wishes me well. Have a blessed Christmas ahead. God bless you too.

I have experienced working in a country where Christmas isn't celebrated as well. It did make me sad but the essence of Christmas really is in our hearts and not in the festive food, lavish Christmas trees and colorfully-wrapped gifts. But they do make a good visual and definitely makes me excited! I hope this year, you receive something special for you.

Inner peace, better health.I wish I had less problems in my life. And for material gifts, any gift would be great if given by someone who loves you and cares about you.I believe that New Year is celebrated almost everywhere in the world, and you will be able to join others. If not, be with them in your heart, and know that Earth is small, and we are closer to each other than we think.:)

The best Christmas that I would really like to receive this Christmas is that I hope that the end of the world on December 21 wouldn't happen. :)

Last Christmas, my loved one accompanied me to visit zoo in the morning, and i went to church that afternoon. About this Christmas, i hope that late-coming person will appear. Wish you enjoy the approaching holiday. Meanwhile, no matter where you are, please enjoy every day~
