With billions of web pages on the Internet spewing just about anything that one can think about, do you think there should be governing body that censor what can be displayed on the Internet? Or do you think that freedom of speech and expression should prevail?

I don't think censorship of internet is good. If an individual wants to block a list of sites he/she has many options to do. I feel the freedom of speech and expression should prevail in case of INTERNET.

There are some computer options that someone can do so that they can restrict some sites that they don't want to be open since most children these days are using the internet, some computer manufacturers has censoring options even before to get rid off some cons in the cyberworld. If by censoring you mean restricting some sites, i believed that it is not possible unless your country is mandating such laws. But as internet is evolving, restraining some sites may also calls for degrading the freedom of speech and expression.

I think it will not be good to censor the Internet as a whole. If you want see or search only for censored features you can apply yourself or if necessary the government of each country should take the necessary censorship. Therefore all the contents are available for others who doesn't need a censorship. In my opinion everyone should have their freedom and if one person thinks that it is not good for him/her that person can do the needful.

Many people won't like it if they censor the internet. Stopping someone from doing something will just create rebellion rather than learn a lesson.
