I never made purchase of app through my phone. I rather choose the apps are free for download, rather I have to pay for them, that is not worth it. Hello I have just go for android smart phone, before than this I was using Apple iphone. So far having good experience. About purchasing app, so far I haven't purchased any app. Just filling my phone with free apps, and they are good too. About purchased apps, you can use them forever. You can upgrade them to new version without any cost. Once you paid for them you will have them forever with whatever upgrade their give. And you are right, they all are quite cheap.
