Traveling alone is very exciting because you have no one to think about but only you.The only bad thing about it is that it is boring that you have no one to share whatever you have been going through your travels. The only thing you could appreciate it is by taking picture to all your adventures,so that you can tell all your family and friends about your adventures in your travels.I wish you are enjoying your travels and happy trip.

I agree while travelling alone we just have to take the photos and enjoy but this is a good experience overall we wont get this opportunity always .You can show the pictures to your friends and family and can explain them all about the pictures. Consider it as the chance given to spend time and understand your self.

That is absolutely correct, that you have so much stories to tell them all.You can even tell them if it is a good place or not,if you have encountered good investments upon visiting these places. You could even open one of your baggage to give them all your surprise gifts for them.

No Sissi, I have never travelled alone. Infact it is very boring to be alone and looking for new people to be friends when you reach there. Travelling can be many hours by road or train and it can be totally boring without your family or friend. You are not going to read a book there, that you can do. No one to share anything is not my Idea of a vacation.

Purnima, I fully agree with you that it is no fun travelling alone. No one to share pictures and I do not even like taking my lunch or dinner alone. I still remember school days when you me and other friends waited for each other for lunch and if anyone got late we used to wait. So how can anyone enjoy a trip alone. Likely to be highly boring.

I hope that you will really enjoy your three days of annual leave. I adore traveling and these days travel with my young children. In the past when I was a young person I happily traveled around Europe on my own at age 18 years old. I traveled around the world alone when I was 20 to 21 years old. I went to Israel and Jordan on my own in my mid twenties. I went on my own to the Maldives in my thirties. My best trip happened in 2006 and I did that alone. It was to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. I climbed Mayan ruins, explored an exciting cave and stayed a few nights in a tree house. It was a wonderful and happy adventure for me. My last trip alone happened in the summer of 2006 and it was to Bulgaria and Romania. Since then I have traveled with my son born in 2007 and my daughter born in 2009.

Hi Sissi, To be frank yes I have traveled alone. But believe me it was one fo the most boring trip of my life. The traveling was boring, the stay was very boring and I didn't enjoy the sites nor the delicious food because I was alone. Being alone is no fun. I missed every one , just wished I had someone with me who I knew.
