This is one for the ladies.Hot sweats ,mood swings how long does it last.I am fifty five and have been having these symptoms for about 2years.My monthlys have almost stopped if they do arrive it is very light.I was talking to a friend of mine in her 70's and she still gets night sweats, criky! I get very emotional and easily upset. My doctor wants to give me anti depressants but I turned that down.I have started drinking fruit teas, taking excercise and eating plenty of fruit and veg.Seems to be working has anyone got any tips that help them.I also have a magnet that goes on your panties in the pelvic area and that helps stops bad sweats.Although a few still get through.I don't really know if the magnet makes a real difference or not.Does anybody else use this system.Hope to hear from someone soon.

It is different for everyone. I stated these symptoms at age 42. I am 60 now. I barely ever get hot flashes any more. I also had my monthly till I was 55. I honestly didn't think it would ever stop. Honestly, unless you are willing to take a anti depressant or hormone replacement therapy, you just have to learn how to live with it.
