I go home every weekend from work in the city. My dog lives with my parents and I really love it when she welcomes me. She'll wag her tails bend her body to the left and right, she'll then run up to me and rub her body to mine. She'll do this for some time. She really shows that she missed me. How about you? how does your dog welcome you?

Our dog is so funny when she welcomes me! She wags her whole body, not only the tail, she shows her teeth in what we call 'a large smile', she rub her body to my legs and starts crying. My wife usually says she is telling me everything that happened when I was off. 'I can't do anything when you're away, because she would tell you everything' - my wife says. I think she's right. Our dog is the best guardian for my wife when I'm gone.

Whenever my dog hears that our gate opens, she already know right away that I am there. She will bark nonstop and cry at the same time. When I open the door, she will jumps at me and lick my face. Its like very touching and I feel so happy that my dog is also excited to see me. Actually, lets say I will leave for about five minutes. Once I come back again in our house, she will become excited again as if she did not see me for a month. Her tail is wagging fast and non stop and she will lean her head at me. That is I guess one of the happiness that money can't buy.

Same thing happens to me. he's already at the dog and making his presence known. I am always careful to open the door since he can get out and wander in the streets. I try to greet with the same enthusiasm because I did miss the cute mutt.

My one dog Oliver who is a pug is mormally sleeping on my bed when I get home because I work until 10pm. It takes him awhile to notice that I am home but then he normally grabs something like a shoe or one of his toys and then comes to me where ever I am to give it too me. He then wants to be petted for a few seconds and then he leaves to go back to bed. He also does this to my wife when she comes home from work.

When I have dogs before, my dogs would welcome me with snipping, wiggling of tales and running around me. Oh, I miss my dogs now. They love to play the chasing game and they're always "it".
