Do you actually believe in destiny? I always believe that we make our own fate. That whatever situation we are in now are part of our previous actions and consequences of our choices in life. Like say for an instance me being a single parent and not being married, these were my choices. But meeting my present boyfriend seems to be a different story. I first met him when we were in high school. We were seat mates and I had a huge crush on him. Who will not? He's so cute, nice, adorable plus he's a famous dancer of a known dance group in our campus. Everyone loves him because he can make everyone laugh. I always though that he will never be interested with someone like me who's always being bullied by my other classmates. Come prom night though, I was so stunned when he asked me for a dance. I have thought that he's just being generous. After graduation, no one had ever heard about me from our batch. 10 years has passed, I have grown into a totally different woman because of different experiences. I was 8 months pregnant then and was standing next to a shelf to buy snacks when I heard a guy's voice calling me by my first name. I turned to look around and found a familiar looking face staring at me. He reminded me of his name when he had noticed that I was trying to recognise him. I got so excited and approached him right away. He was barely looking at me and seemed to be avoiding my stare but I just ignored it. We then had a few chat and he asked for my number to keep me updated with our upcoming alumni. I thought I even so him glancing at me as I went away. We separated thinking that we're both taken by someone else. After giving birth, I received a message from him reminding me about the reunion. We exchanged several messages and learned that we're both not committed to anyone else. One day, the father of my child totally abandoned us for a different girl. I was so mad and hurt but he was there to cheer me up even just through the messages we're sending via our mobile phones. One day, we've decided to hang out and upon seeing each other we instantly realised how much we're attracted to each other. That moment we knew that we have spark, glow and connection. Right now, we're just about to go 1 year but we've been through a lot of tests which we passed with flying colours. Yet we never lose the spark , glow and connection that we had the first time we went out. We're still trying to figure out though whether it was a coincidence for him to go to that drug store that unforgetful day.
