Yes I am talking about life in general where we say things like 'Never Again" you know what I am talking about maybe it was we over spent at the store or we bought something to eat that made us sick or the so called call we made and don't remember a thing we said the say after? Maybe we drank too much the night before or just life's mistakes we have made and always told ourselves ;never Again?" But do you really stick to your words? Or do you find yourself in the same situation again? Over and over?I have found myself saying it but find myself right back where I started again I won;t lie I admit it but does it ever really end for us?

I guess if we actually learn from our mistakes and try to do better then we can get out of it. But I'm sure that for the majority of us breaking any type of habit or changing our way of doing things is difficult. I'm sure that most of us have found ourselves saying those words.

Thanks. My day went well. Some parts could have been better but that is life. I keep trying to learn from my mistakes. But we make mistakes and sometimes it happens over and over again.

Well, reading your discussion, I conclude that your situation is, in a sense, like mine, or at least very similar. Many times I have promised to myself many things, some have never been able to keep them. Errors, despite however for me they have been "life lesson", even after they have been committed, often I happened to fall into them again. I know it's wrong, but sometimes it's something uncontrollable by my will. However, this happens particularly in relations with other people, starting perhaps from my family. However, I firmly believe that we can one day come to the conclusion to say and keep the "Never Again!"

I am the same way just keep telling myself never again and find myself doing whatever it was that I said I would never do well doing it again but I like you think one day that we will stop whatever it is taking control of us? I hope so anyway.

This saying is not new to everyone of us. I also admit, I may say "never again" but still I do it again over and over. It is just funny that even my kids 6 and 2 years old will say "never again" too. Particularly id they mistake and they know that my husband and I will get mad.

Me too I always end up doing the thing I say I will never do again whatever it might be,

We all experience that. We try but we fail, try and fail again over and over. But as long we really do try and do things never again, and never give up. With determination and perseverance, we can achieve it as long as we really want to. No matter what it is. At first we always fail, thats how everything works. As long as we really push to it, anything can happen. I did say those words, about my smoking habit. Been smoking for years, and it took me years to have that courage and determination to quit. I'm proud to say, now is my longest time being smoke free. 26 days. And I will keep on going. And even if I fail, I'll get back up and be better.

Wow Congrats! That is something I have told myself over and over to quit smoking and I always end up back smoking again the longest I ever went with out smoking was 3 months and I was just dying for a smoke and messed up.

I have a terrible habit of falling into this mistake. My new favourite is to change mistakes into new years resolutions, as if its OK to carry on through December, but stop January 1st.
