What if he's a bit late?

I already have a child and decided not to get married because I'm not sure I wanted to be with the father of my child. He then abandoned me for a different girl. After a couple of months, ironic as it may seem but I know I've finally found the right one. But my parents are against me having a new boyfriend. Am I an irresponsible mother for having a new boyfriend right away?

No that isn't being irresponsible. YOu don't have to be with nor marry the father of your child. You can be with other men and even if you want to marry a different man. There are plenty of men in the world that are better fathers then biological father of a child most of the time that child moves that guy ten times more then there real father.
You should fallow your heart and not what other people want you to do. You know what is right for you and your child.

Thank you ShyBear88. I really appreciate those encouraging words. Every once in a while I will hear a relative who will make a comment with me not being married. There are times I want to break down but I'm holding on to my inspiration, my baby, and to my special someone.

Your welcome. Just remember it doesn't matter what other people think it's what you think and feel. You will know what is right for you and your child and if this guy is the guy for you then you should fallow your heart.
