Anyone else ever heard of this?

One of my favorite dinners when I was a kid was chilli and cinnamon rolls. When I mentioned this to my boyfreind, he looked at me like I had grown a third eye. It may sound strange, but the cinnamon roll replaces the buttered bread or cornbread. The sweet plays nicely off the spice of the chilli.

Nom, Nom, Nom, Cinnamon rolls are delicious and a rare treat these days, but golly I'll have to agree with your friend, it does sound weird with chili! lol...We had chili mac tonight and I was going to make corn bread, but then I changed my mind.

It's one of those dishes that are cheap to make but the taste is always delicious. It's the one meal I don't have to spend so much time on, yet the taste is so rewarding.

And even if you wanna be lazy, a can of chilli is cheap and fast, although not as tasty as the real thing.

I have never heard of this before, but I have never eaten chilli at any restuarents just homemade. I will have to try this sometimes, and see how it tastes.
