baseball cards?

So, I have always wondered what is the deal with baseball cards? Now I know what baseball cards and I don't want to offend any baseball fans here. I myself have worn a cap or T-shirt to support my favorite baseball team. But I don't understand the fascination with baseball cards. Are you a baseball card collector? Can you share why you like collecting baseball cards?

Yes, I would consider this an interesting question, and surprized I am the first one responding back in here considering it was started a week ago or so. But I can remember thinking this at one time, and wondering why something made of paper can be so valuable and people wanting to own it. But since over the yrs. I have collected and Sold Baseball cards, as well as other sports, etc. it has been a fascination for me. I just wish that cards would gain value in people wanting them again though.

I actually never understood this fascination for cards. But I guess it allows you to own something that is related to your favorite sportstar and game. And yes, this fascination does seem to have done down now. Kids these days are I guess not much interested in these baseball cards. But I have seen some children still quite interested in their father's collection. I guess it comes from the parents. Your children will be interested in it if you are. Thanks for sharing! Even I was wondering why no one responded here :)
