never expected we would be friends

there's this girl whom i have bad first impressions of. she was the reason why my high school friend and her boyfriend broke up. so i thought of her as flirt and all the other bad things. time past and a lot of times we were together, we eventually became friends. i never really expected that we would get close. i discovered we have a lot of similarities. we like a lot of similar things. my high school friend, we meet on some occasions but we just greet each other. we don't talk long.
my new friend, we still still text and sometimes meet. i guess it was destiny that we met.

Yes, sometimes we don't expect things will turn into different outcomes. and sometimes we will never ever expect something from someone. but Somehow, we our judgement fails. "Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."
Carry on.. and not knowing her before and knowing her now is part of life and part of realization.

and the good thing is you did not close your mind and heart to know this person, this is the basic and essential part of your story. If you did you may not know her better and she will not be able to show her worth to you. glad to hear this

Well, they say first impressions last but basing from you, we should not judge a person because of first impression. I am happy that you two became sincere friends and hoping that it will last long.

i'm happy i gave her a chance to prove me wrong. i guess first impressions really are like an instinct to everyone. i'm just happy that the first impression didn't push me to block her from joining my life.

This has happened to me too, first impressions can very often be wrong, and it is very hard to tell who will be your friend or not when you just meet them. I have to admit I have several very good friends today that I wasn't too crazy about when I just met them. So one should never assume things about people without knowing them, you could really be missing out if you do!
