Make Noise on New Year!

Hello Lotters,
I don't know if people should still believe about driving the bad spirits but it's been decades that we haven't got ridden of spirits that had badly influence our public servants to commit corrupt acts.
Not to mention, improper use of fireworks or defective ones has caused pain and death to us filipinos. despite of the low usage of fireworks over the years, we still have people doing it and getting hurt and killed.
Torotot or Trumphet is much cheaper and cleaner. though annoying to the ears, we have ear plugs to prevent our ears from getting raped

How I really wish we can drive all the corrupt people in our government just using the "torotot" Trumpet (uhmn, how about the other meaning of "torotot"- ahahaha)
Imagine the people of this country positioning bamboo canyons in front of politicians houses

Imagine, if the constituents would indeed point their bamboo canyons to the houses of those corrupt politicians!
However, no amount of humiliation can make these corrupt officials mend their ways. How i wish their conscience would do that !

hi,
that would be all people do every end of the year,they said that the more noise you made a minute before the end of the year the more bounty and wealthy will come to your life,the noise that i made last year was tossing of many coins in a cooker/casserole.

That's even better, save as many coins as you can and then toss them during the new year. i have save a few coins and i toss when there was a pit senior sto. nino procession here in our place.tossing coins and making noise are definitely better than fireworks, you could also make noise with the piggy bank or any item that has coins inside.have a nice day.

We have little sparklers too as alternative to fireworks. I don't play torotot anymore because I feel silly doing it at my age haha. I just let the small kids have the little toy trumpets.

Hello Joliefille, You can do it at home inside with out going to the streets or roads to do it. besides, there's no shame in using torotot, i have seen old people in our near neighbors using it. yeah small kids would want to use the trumphet for their own amusement, sure they can enjoy their little routine this new year. hope they can do it again next year. have a nice day.

Actually my city forbid to use firework for long time,it is really unsafe especially when the firework use in the big city,it will cause the fire sometime.
So may be your city's punish is not serious then some people use the firework again.

Hello Skyandgrassplot,If it's a city, it could affect electric post and lines. not tomention if the fireworks is defective you never know whe it is going to hit. well, not sure about our municipality but every single year fire works show was starting to get thinner and shorter every midnight of the new year. have anice day.
