Dexter and Hannah---will their love affair last?

After Dexter's romance with Rita ended up in a tub of blood at the hands of Trinity, the show went on with Dexter going solo. The writers was testing the waters with hints of a Debra/Dexter romantic connection but I believe many reacted unfavorably against it (including myself) since it would have been an incestuous affair even if the two are not blood related (Dexter is adopted). Hannah McCay was introduced this season as Dexter's romantic lead. They really seem to look good together and Hannah seem to understand and accept Dexter as he is. They are the perfect couple! But then, Debra seem to be bent on putting Hannah behind bars and we know that Deb can be a dog with a bone when she sets her eyes on you! To the writers: please don't kill Hannah!
