Have you tried any natural ways to induce labor in any of your pregnancy? I never tried with my daughter since I was induced with medication early. Now with my son everything was natural no medication to induce my labor. With him I tried all kind of ways bouncing on the ball, walking upstairs, eating certain things, just walking. Finally what did it was me drinking some castor oil in a small amount of course because too much isn't good at all and I put some in some orange juice. That made the contractions start up for sure. For the rest of the time I just walked it out till my water was broken.

You know what I did for my five month old? First of all I was 0 cm Dilated on my due date. I went home and looked up acupressure to Induce labor. I found a video on YouTube and gave my self the massage. It involved pressure points along my legs. I think it worked labor started about 5 hrs later.

I was already 2cm when I took the castor oil. My husband suggested it throw a friend of his at work. It could have been that or the fact I was in preterm labor for 2 weeks and the medical just finally wore off where I could get contractions again since I was moving all around.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well the pregnancy period is a very crucial period of motherhood stage and i think each and every step during such a stage should be taken with a lot of care and attention. I think during such a phase, a pregnant woman should not be allowed to work more and rather she should stay on a recommended diet and should avoid walking down the steps and should be highly cautious of all activities that she does. What say?

If you have stairs a women should wall up and down them. I have to disagree every women is different in what she needs when pregnant. There are different diets that are need when pregnant. A women shouldn't avoid work there are jobs in which women can do while pregnant as long as it doesn't put baby in danger while pregnant then it's okay. Like sit down job women can't just sit home all day on there a$$ all day do you know how hard is it. If anyone has every been pregnant it's hard to not to do every day actives and doctors actually encourage working. stair you cant avoid they tell you to hold on to the rail and were flat shoes.
