There's no wrong to work hard and become rich. But we must aware that the wealth of this world is just a means to attain the of the great price, the kingdom of GOD GOD said, " No man can serve between two masters. He will either hate one or love and love another. You cannot give yourself to GOD and money. To love GOD is not only affair of the heart. To love GOD means to bring one's life in lining with him.Loving GOD in all and above all.We are told that the words in which we are commanded to love GOD should be written in our hearts DEUTRONOMY 6:7-9

There is no contradiction in being a Christian and a rich person. The Bible tells us that it is the love of money that is a root of all kinds of evil 1 Tim6.10. If we have an abundance of wealth we are to use it for good, not love it for all it can do for us. If we place too high a value on money then money becomes our god and we cannot serve God and money. If I had lots of money to give to Christian work in the world I would like to be able to supply the poor with clean water by paying for wells to be dug to tap the resources available locally.

This is such a life enriching post. It's true, we don't have to devote all our time and resources finding only wealth in this world. We have to balance our life between self, family, fellowmen and GOD. But HE would be most pleased if we give much to others rather than only to ourselves. As they say, loving others is just loving HIM as well.

You are so right, as we are to love God through all our adversities. Sometimes that can be hard when things go so wrong, but if we put our faith and trust in him, he will see us through. There is a verse in the bible that says, that he will keep those in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee. I am not sure where that verse is located, but I think about that verse all the time. I love The Lord very much, and I wouldn't be where I am without him. Take care, and God bless you.
