Our exchange gift was priced at 200 pesos and above. Some of the employees don’t like to join because they said that the past experiences made them not able to receive an exchange gift since others didn’t give. Thus, it was decided that the exchange gift will be done for within each department, so others would be ashamed not to give any. And a wishlist was prepared wherein everybody wrote what they like to receive. And my wishlist, was simple. A box of Belgian chocolate or a Satin bathrobe with short sleeves. However, the Belgian chocolate costs 380 pesos which I think would be costly on the part of the giver , thus I announced in our department after getting to whom we will give our gift, that I just like the bathrobe because it costs a little more than PhP200.00.

Usually that happens if the exchange gift done within the whole cluster here in our company. A cluster consist of 5 teams/group, and per team consist of 13-15 persons. So, it was decided to have the exchange gift per team- to avoid such incident. It is easier to monitor less participants then. Before, our exchange gifts costs 300-400 pesos and if you want something costlier- you must include in your wishlist that you will contribute for the excess amount. One of our team mate wrote on his wishlist... I want a Xtrail - I promise to shoulder the remaining balance

Xtrail is Nissan van, a crossover SUV my dear.. Well, my team mate is just kidding...he then message everyone saying, he wants a model of the same car. but still it's costly, it cost a thousand pesos. The 5gb USB price depends on the brand. Sandisk 5gbUSB usually costs 600 -1,000 pesos. There are cheaper products that you can buy from CDR-King.

So an Xtrail is a car. I think i have seen one already but it slipped my mind this time that it's indeed a car! Senior moments ? Yes, gadgets bought at CRD -King indeed costs cheaper. In fact, the remote control of our TV was bought there when the original wasn't operational anymore over many years' usages. It lasted for only 5 months i think. So that 5gb USB also costs a bit more. I hope the one who gets the one whose wishlist is that, is generous.

Hi friend, good to hear about this, wish you to get your favorite chocolates. Don't think about the money, since Christmas will come once in a while, so enjoy it with your favorite things. Merry Christmas

Well, my friend, we also have to think of money this Christmas season. It has to be that we spend within our limits, so we won't end up broke after that. Merry Christmas too!

I used not to like exhange gift, yan. That's because i have a bad experience of receiving a gift that is useless and cheap. It doesn't matter if it is cheap actually, as long as it is something that is usable, then it's fine with me.
