Hello guys.Recently I wanted to get a content writing job from a freelancer. He has asked me to write a sample. He has given me a topic to write along with two referance articles for my topic. He wanted only facts and no stories of my own.Now if I browse those two articles and write an article in my own words,it will be like a copy writing job where we make an exsiting article to be different in style, but telling the same facts..will this ok and will be approve this.please give your advices.

Perhaps your future employer just want to have you write in the third person (they, them, he, she) to make the article look more professional. As long as your citing your references correctly there is no problem with using other articles as basis for your work. That's how it is in SEO writing.

Yes.she wants me to use personalized words like you, which would seek the attention of the readers. She wanted me to keep the article in small paras and in an interesting way that the readers are not bored. But on the contradictory, she needs the facts. So keeping things interesting will depend on my style of english as sometimes, the facts will be boring.

Hi, narnia007 sound as though you need an article template to help you with this assignment. You could use a How To Article Template,The ‘? Things To Look For’ Template. Just place any number where the question mark is and list the facts in order by a number, or you can use The ? Best Article Templates put a number where the question mark is and list the facts. You see there are several way you can approach this problem using an article template. You could also write it in the second person (you, your, yourself) is the preferred way when writing web copy. hopes this helps...Good Luck!

Hi narnia, Probably The reference article was meant for you to have an idea as to how to format the articles. Once you have a topic you can refer from any source and write an article without necessarily bringing in stories or too many personal ideas which many sites are not happy with. Basically they want facts researched by you, written in your own words ..all the best

I don't think there is anything wrong in it.You need to have knowledge of facts on the topic before writing an article on it.If you browse two articles to know the facts about it,you are learning something that you don't know now. There is no other way to learn them. For example,if you have to write an article on earth, then you would have to write,'The earth is round.'Where did you get the information from?Did you do any scientific research to know it?You can browse the facts and write the articles in your own words and in your own style.
