Are you PRO or ANTI RH Bill?

As the RH Bill passes the second reading in Congress, the Catholic Church has been on the war path to sway their constituents to rally against it. A friend of mine told me that when he went to mass last Sunday, their parish priest went to the extreme of saying in his homily, "Kung PRO RH Bill kayo, wala kayong karapatang tumuntong sa simbahang ito!" Personally, I believe there is a better way of saying this in such a way that it does not become offensive. I am a Catholic myself and I am offended to hear this even coming from another person.

That priest is acting like a child. I am not into pro and neither of anti... Well, I am just so-so and leave the topic behind for I don't care what decisions will come. As long as it is not about declaring war then I think I will just lean my back and relax. Usually, Filipinos keep on discussing about this. Some are favor and some are not, so it is better for me to say nothing about it. But I join this discussion because I got confused with that parish priest... It seems he is acting like the friars in the Noli Mi Tangere of Rizal. Even if he is anti-RH he should not take it to the church and say nasty words. Church is the place to worship and praise God and not any political arena to discuss country's issues...

Our constitution dictates that there should be a separation of Church and State. The problem is: majority are both Catholics and Filipinos. It's like a tug of war when it comes to issues where both sides are in a disagreement. Personally, I'd go the lesser evil.

I'm Pro RH Bill and the priest is pretty harsh. He doesn't own the church so he doesn't have the right to tell who and who will not go to church. We all know that contraceptives are a big no no to the church but just look at how overpopulated this small country is.
