Another Tragedy in America

United States
December 14, 2012 5:49pm CST
The President summed it up well: from movie theaters, shopping malls, street corners, and elementary schools, there have been too many random murders in America. While there are individual stories behind each, it seems strange that the USA has such an unusually high amount of these massacres. It made me think of acts of terrorism, and while I CANNOT excuse that, at least they are trying to make some kind of political statement. Who would go into an elementary school and murder 20 children and 8 schoolteachers? Why do you think these things happen? I'd rather not do as some TV pundits are saying and live in a state of fear. Should we have stricter gun laws? How can we prevent this type of thing from happening again?

I'm not going to pretend to have any answers, I just feel a need to express my profound sorrow. I cry everytime I think about it. I can't even come close to imagining how the people of this town, the other students and faculty and staff of the school, and the parents are going to deal with this.

Its very sad indeed and the more you question why these things go on the more you get stuck for the answer but the truth is there are a lot of crazy killers out there, millions most are locked away in secure hospitals or maximum prisons but there are more than people would like to think and the question as to why still baffles specialists today because there is no one true answer. Is it a abusive childhood or can people just be bad,in my experience some people are just plain evil there is no getting around it.
