some strange observation

I have noticed in our place that very simple, even plain married women, have nice clean homes while those who look gorgeous and pretty don't have nice orderly houses. One proof is a neighbor of ours, I can see that she must have been a beautiful woman but now she has grown quite obese, takes care of her big house like a real housekeeper. Early in the morning she sweeps the yard (she has helpers), pulling weeds in the garden and personally cleaning her husband's cars. After doing all these, she personally goes to the market and cooks the food herself. She only uses a public transport because she can't drive. They have many cars but she just refuses to learn how to drive. I don't even see any trace of powder or lipstick on her face, but if you look at her house, wow, it is so clean and beautiful. Then I had the chance of going to another house owned by a couple who seems to be doing well in life. The wife is also very plain and simple, very much like my neighbor, but boy, her house is so neat and well-tended. Another friend of mine who I used to work with is also the same. This makes me wonder whether plain and simple women do make good homemakers or good wives and mothers. Your take?

I have noticed this too with roommates. Usually the girls who wear a lot of makeup and take time to do their hair every day are the ones who don't pick up after themselves: they leave their dishes in the sink for a long time, leave the bathroom a mess, and are always running late. I don't think it has to happen this way, but I do think that things like hair and makeup should be done in a quick manner so that they have time for their actual responsibilities.

May happen that simple women are more interested in keeping their house clean but some on contrary maintain themselves and their body as well as the house. This purely depends on the persons interest.

There are so many factors as to the reasons for ones choices in life. I have always had a clean, orderly house until lately when my energy is taken with care of my spouse. All of a sudden my priorities have changed and I find the house is not as important as it once was. Of one thing you can be sure life changes.

Ya plain housewives do keep their houses clean as they give more time to their houses rather than wasting time on makeup or gossiping with others unusual things.

I think it varies from person to person.. though sometimes its true.. most girls who is simple in their appearance are likely neat in their houses.. because they are more focus on their homes not on themselves.. or they just wanted to look simple.. but remember the saying don't judge the book by its cover.. being glamorous or vein means that they will not make a good housewife it really depends on the person..

It depends on the person. I have a friend who is beautiful and always look like she's going to attend a party but her house is so clean even though she doesn't have a maid. When I spent a night in their house, I found out that she wakes up 3:30 in the morning everyday, cleaning and exercising. By 6:00 am, the house is clean, plants are watered, breakfast is ready and she had taken a bath and already wears make up. To tell you the truth, I don't know how she does it everyday.

some women are worth it. They take cleaning the house as exercise and do it very well. They don't look at it like its not their work or something cheap. They enjoy their work all together. But some are not so interested in working at home /the house hold work they find it cheap (as i have seen people who talk so).They go to gym to maintain their body but never do the work at house which really worth and doesn't cost at all. They can even save the money for some purpose which they use for gym. Some intelligent ladies do think like this.
I don't say everyone keep their house untidy purposefully there be may other things they may not have such good health o maintain the clean house but some do it.
but some do it.

I think that women who keep their life simple are able to keep up with their home better. Those who have more money may have more things to do like go to work longer hours, or shop more,etc but some still are able to keep up with their home. I think if I had a lot more money I would hire a maid to keep up with the house work. Because I know I have a hard time keeping up with everything now.
