Do you think that you're wasting time? We know that time is very precious. But no more one know how to save it. And making the time become meaning. I'm too. I feel that I'm wasting time with every day elapsed in the office.

I think I did waste a lot of my time for the past years. I am supposed to be having a job until now but my husband discourage me from working in an office. He says that I am just wasting my time and effort with a very low salary. But when I think about it, the salary I made wasn't that bad. I think that he was just not into the idea of me being out of the house that long and far from the house. He could not help me with the kids' schoolwork. Everything has to be done by me. I found less and less sleep each day. Although I was willing to stick with my job, he just one day told me to quit and stay home instead. There was no use fighting over it. He would just be telling me that maybe i found myself a boy toy that I wouldn't want to leave. Oh God! I am tired with all those crap!

You should go to work. And you should choose a job which you like. Why you must be at home because your husband like that? If you don't be worked what you like, your time is wasted. Your life is bored!

I would really want to but looking for a good paying job is just too difficult these days especially with my age. Companies would rather choose younger people. The only company I know that would probably accept me is a BPO/Call Center. But working on graveyard shifts isn't what I want. Besides, I have kids that needs me to help them when they come home from school.

We can have some check list, either in the house or office. If you are done doing the tasks, you can check and try to reflect of what happened for today. We really feel monotonous if we the usual routine daily.

I admit that there are times I have wasted time, like watching movies instead of doing something much productive. But, we need some time to relax and give ourselves a break. That's the only thing I know that I am wasting my time...but not a waste though since I have enjoyed it.

I agree that If we feel that we're doing well or what we do meanings, the time won't waste. Maybe because my work at office is bad.

I shall not ask myself for not wasting any single minute or second but I do ask myself to use my time fruitfully and effectively. ha! ha! If you are really wasting your time at your office. I do not thing the management will pay you anymore at the end of the month. You really need to plan your schedule well in your daily work in the hope to work more, faster, systematically and effectively.

I believe that my boss don't know what I'm thinking! :) I still work hard everyday. I finish all tasks! I think that the problem is from myself!

I think about it very often... Why did I waste my time doing this or that instead of doing something that can be of use to me and the others around me? Sometimes the waste of time can be staring at the TV watching something stupid or just wanderinr around the block... But the truth is, we all need a break from the daily routine and many activites other people may consider a waste of time, for us can be very, very interesting and relaxing. It's all individual. In many cases doing the daily job obligations at work are much more waste of time than just spending time with yourself doing nothing. Depends on the perspective...

I don't mean that entertainment is wast time. I mean that if we try to do what we don't like or boring thing, we're wasting time. We have many things to do in this life, why we must take time to do what we hate?

If you feel that way you have to find something else to do with your life that makes you happy.

Honestly, You shouldn't think about time like that. Every second you spend doing something that you don't believe is productive why do it? Anything can be considered counter-productive as Someone stated, watching a movie is considered by some as time wasting but in reality there is such a thing as useful procrastination. When you spend that 'time' doing something that is productive to you but not considered so by others actually helps you as you are learning. Sitting in the office getting work done is monotonous. You need the time spent otherwise to help your brain process newer things even if it reading a book 200 times, it wouldn't be wasted. Your vocabulary has benefited, your literature-based understanding of an author's work will have increased and in a lot of ways it helps with living. Besides, time is just a construct to use as a means of organization. I have never been late by my standards yet. :D
