I have children, and i make them believe that Santa is real. I know that telling them Santa will bring gifts will stop making them being naughty. My older kids do not believe in Santa. I have a boy who is 5 and a girl 7, who believe in Santa. Should i tell them the truth or keep it. Why or Why not should i tell them the truth

Well I think it's best not to tell them and let them find out in there own time because telling them might make it worse to the point where they are very upset. I don't plan on telling my kids that santa doesn't exist it's a normal part of growing up for most kids to believe in him. When they are old enough they will find out in there own time.

Truth i really believe in what you said. When i raised my other kids, i told them Santa was real, but when they start being on the age of 12, they stopped believe in it. I think most kids believe in Santa no matter where you from. But one day they will find out, and they cannot be mad for that

I've heard of kids being mad at there parents or someone that tells them. But I think it depends on the kid and there personality

I was made to believe that Santa was for real until I got so naughty and found the gifts inside my mom's closet and wrapped it and placed it under the Christmas tree with a tag saying that it was from Santa. So the magic was gone. But it didn't make me feel bad about it coz after all, it was only the thought of believing him was lost and not the gifts.

How about tell them that Santa Claus was really a living person. That's a fact. He was Saint Nicholas. Tell them the story about that old guy of how he gave gifts to people during the time when they were in dire need such as of food and how the people loved him for his selflessness. Then tell them about the myth of today about the big old guy in red keeping a list of good children's names and giving gifts to them during Christmas. Though your older kids wouldn't believe of the Santa Claus in red, they must believe in historical facts, right? Your children would still find out that Santa Claus is real in historical records when they grow up anyway.

The beliefs of knowing Santa is a myth, I think there is no issue of knowing Santa for kids. At least, when they grow up they have something to tell about their childhood years.
