I am really an avid fan of The Voice show. You know how much I feel excited everytime I wait for my bets to perform on stage, and as its third season has ended a while ago, I am still in the midst of a hangover on what happend, well aside from my bet, Cassadee Pope, who wins, thanks god, one of my musical influences, Bruno Mars performed a heart warming number from his newest album, Unortodox Jukebox, its single When I Was Your Man, played purely on piano by Phredley Brown, his musical director, who now plays the guitar whenever they have a tour. Phredley Brown is really the one who plays piano and keyboards on the Hooligan Band (Bruno Mars's band), but he is now replaced with John Fossit, which made Phredley move on playing the guitar and replaced Kenji Chan who recently left the band because probably of his daughter. Yeah, he sacrificed his career for his daughter, but I really admire Kenji as a guitar player. He is one of the best guitarist ever. Well, I thought he will perform Locked Out Of Heaven, which is now number 1 hit on Billboard Chart, replacing Rihanna's Diamonds. Well, speaking of Rihanna, she also performed that song on The Voice. I also like that song, Diamonds, coz it has made everyone stand on what they are, I mean that song really proves that every woman has also a power to stand on what they are, and they really shine bright like a diamond. Well, aside from the two of them, The Killers also performed. From the start, Cassadee exerted lots on efforts to improve her voice, and I really like her multi-genre voice, from country, to a lil rock, then she can go pop, well, just also like Bruno Mars, not only on his Unorthodox Jukebox, but from his first hit album. Her opponents, Nicholas David and Terry MacDermott have also amazing voices, but they stick to only one genre. Nick sticks to the soulful voice, which made him land on CeeLo Green's team, and Terry, even though he is a avid rock musician, landed on Blake Shelton's team, well I think, he should go with Adam Levine's team because he is a pure rock musician also. Well, as a music lover, I am rooting on an artist with different genre, and I know most of us also agree that multi-genre voice is better than one genre voice. Well, would you belive that Bruno Mars's another new song, If I Knew sounds like a pure oldies and it makes us go back to the 60's music? I cannot believe that he can do such a genre like that. Well, no doubt because he is also a big fan of Elvis Presley and The Beach Boys. Cassadee's musical talent runs into her family, her mother and sister are in the band, as well as she also. You know, if a talent runs in your family, it is a big advantage. Bruno Mars also has a family of musicians. His father is a Latin percussionist, while his brother, Eric Hernandez is his band's drummer, and his sisters are also singers. Another The Voice contestants 2 Steele Girls have also family members who are in the band. Julio Cesar Castillo's father also sings during a tour in Mexico, and Bryan Keith's father also sings and performs on stage. Well, great voices exploded on two and a half month airing of that show. I really like how they render the song. Daniel Rosa's rendition of Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know made Blake and Ceelo turn their chairs. Well, he was also on the season 2, but nobody turned their chairs for him. I also love how JR Aquino rendered my most favorite song, Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars. Actually that song was performed twice on that show, yeah, first with JR, then at the knockout rounds, with Dez Duron and Paulina (sorry I forgot the last name). I am really a big fan of that song and I have render that in different keys, as I mentioned in my previous article "It's Time For You To Adjust". That song means a lot to all woman because they possess a unique beauty, and they are all beautiful, just the way they are. My another Bet, Devyn DeLoera sang Christina Aguilera's hit Ain't No Other Man on the blind auditions and Leona Lewis's Bleeding Love on live performances. I really like Devyn's voice also and had been my bet for the win. She got eliminated through votes, but for me, she's one of the best voices ever. Amanda Brown and Trevin Hunte also have very powerful voices and I am so proud that they made it too far. Amanda sounds like a powerful singers like Madonna and Whitney Houston. Melanie Martinez has a very sweet voice but she cannot be a powerful diva singer. Maybe she can be like Lenka. There are some aspiring artists, wherein nobody turned their chairs for them, whom I also admire like Ryan Fogarty which possesses a cool voice. Well, maybehe chose a wrong song on the blind auditions, that's why nobody turned around for him, and I hope that he will come back on the next season. There are also an aspiring artist who sang The Lazy Song, but nobody had turned their chairs for him. Well, speaking of The Lazy Song, I am also a big fan of that, and I also rendered that in different keys. Well, to all music lovers like me, we just hope for the next season of The Voice, and again, congratulations, Cassadee. You deserve the win.
