It has been a while since I posted a true crime discussion, and I would like to share another one today. The story is based on a book that I just read and it took place in Denmark in 1992. A 12-year-old girl left her home. She visited a couple of shops and the library and then she wanted to return to her home. She walked to the bus station, but her bus didn't leave immediately so she had to wait for a while. A friend got a glimpse of her at the bus station when she (the friend) left a nearby parking lot, and after that the girl disappeared. The next day a boy found her body. She had been killed. They have never found the person who did it and it is big mystery how she was able to disappear from the bus station. It was during the afternoon and there were plenty of people there. The police think that someone might have offered her a lift or lied to her and persuaded her to get into a car, but no one has seen her get into a car. She could also have left the bus station and gone somewhere else, but she probably wouldn't have had time for that. She was seen at the busstation two minutes before the bus left and when the bus arrived she was gone. I think it is strange that no one has seen a car or anything at all. Maybe somebody knows something about about her disappearance, but they hide the information from the police because of threats, because they have been paid to keep quiet or because they want to protect the person who did it. The police worked very hard on this case and they have talked to many, many people but they still don't know who killed her or what happened to her at the bus station. What do you think about the story?

The story is painful and mysterious. May be the girl was molested and killed by some rapist. In our country teenager girls are very unsecured. In America also girls are often molested. In our country many girls disappeared for good . Actually still the world is not so civilized.

I also think that the girl could have been molested by a rapist. In the area where she lived that had been several cases where young girls were raped, and the police thought that it might be the same man who raped many of the girls, but they have never been able to catch him. The other girls were "only" raped and this girl was the only who was killed as well, but there could still be a connection. In my country the crime rate is relatively low compared to many other countries, but bad things still happen and a number of people are murdered every year.

This is not the first of mysterious crimes. There's also a mysterious case of babies abducted from malls while their parents are busy shopping. Kids disappearance on plane and even from their own homes (in front their homes while playing outside fences) Such kind of mysterious crimes only Heaven above knows what really could have happened.

Yes, unfortunately it is not the first time that something like that happens. There are other cases from my country and of course from other parts of the world as well. I was a teenager when this girl disappeared, but I remember the case because they talked a lot about it in the news. This year a Danish journalist wrote a book about the murder, and it was actually that book that inspired me to start this discussion. It is an old case, but the police in my country never close murder cases completely and they still hope to find the answer one day.

If the police couldn't solve it, I think no body can predict what exactly happened. If the girl was alive, she would have returned to her home somehow, at least after a few years.

It is very hard to find out what actually happened and it must be very hard for the girl's family that they never got the answers to their questions and found out what actually happened to her when she disappeared. I don't think that the police is likely to find the answers unless someone reveals information that they have been hiding or if the killer admits his crime, but that probably won't happen since the person has been hiding the truth for such a long time already. It happened 20 years ago and it is also possible that the killer is no longer alive.

The person who did the crime is smart enough to hide the same from public. The murder should be well planned so no one could trace anything. Now long years passed and there is no chance to trace the culprits. However, I am sure; the person must be punished in a different way by Almighty.

Yes, the murder must have planned it very well since the person has been able to hide the truth for so many years. I don't think that the person is likely to admit the crime today, but the police hope that the person will be unable to handle their guilty one day and that they will finally admit the crime. I also think that the person will be punished for their crime in a different way even if they never get caught by the police. It is a terrible thing to kill a 12-year-old girl like that.
