We have fun listening to old songs

My father asked me to look for his favorite old songs online. So I just went to the youtube . And I have searched the local singer like Fred Panopio, Reycards Duet . It was funny to see the Reycards Duet Concert. I just remember their old jokes. It was fully of funny stuffs while they are singing on the stage. They are like Three Stooges only they were just two instead of three, while they are singing. It was an old videos. So for now I have saved a lot of those videos on my tablet So we can easily get back to the videos and not have to search it again online.

That is exactly what I am doing at the moment. I have music that goes back to sixties and fifties. Nothing like old music. Even the lyrics are catchy which can be easily memorised!

OPM of the seventies are very like the 60 70's music era in Britain and America...
VST is very much like the BeeGees, Hagibis is like Village People, Juan De La Cruz can be side with The Rolling Stones...though OPM of the past era's do not possess such uniqueness they are quite good...if only Allan K knew how to use his talent beyond comedy bars or eat bulaga, he could have been PSY :) just joking

Remember - Hang down your head Tom Dooley? Well, I just finished listening to it and many more numbers. It has been carols, carols and more carols all around me and so to give a break I switched on to some old time melodies.

I am from India and most of our music comes from Indian movies. Old songs are still very popular with lots of people here. One radio station 92.7 FM just plays songs from old Indian movies and never plays new songs. I too like old songs along with new songs. There is good music and bad music. Good music is listened and enjoyed for a long time while ordinary music can get hit and the lost with in few weeks.

It's really funny when some old song would play at our local radio station or even when played on DVDs because my father would sing his heart out hahaha! He don't really have a nice voice but he doesn't care, he would sing together with the music as loud as he can and then we all go laughing at him. He loves Air supply, Beeges and more singers, Because of that I just found myself one day humming a tune of an old song haha it's great :)

There are many legendary ones. I myself have always enjoyed Frank Sinatra. Especially, during the holiday season. My beloved and I used to sing the theme of "Grease," "Summer Nights."

I love also listening to old songs; it keeps a good history and fun memories from the past most especially during our childhood days. It is also a good music reference to those who loves musical influences. Some artists also like to listen to old records because it helps them in producing news songs.

That's true. It is very fun to listen an old songs. It is better rather than the new or modern song today. It will cultivate our mind when we heard our old songs. Some old songs reminisce our old memories through that old songs. Like your father I am an avid listener of old songs.

I agree with first responder old songs remind the old memories and silent music is really great. Not fun but write on like real life. I like old songs and new songs like no sense.

Old songs brings back old memories, whether funny, happy, sad or any other emotions depending on the memories. Good for you that the old songs you searched for are entertaining that you had fun listening to them. If I hear this singers, I might remember my childhood days as I used to hear them during those days only.
