What gift did you receive from God?

Merry Christmas!
Today is Jesus' birthday and I should be the one giving Him presents today. But just this morning, (2 AM, Dec 25) when I did my Daily Devotion (1 Kings, Chapters 1-4), I was surprised when I read the passage in the Chapter 3, verse 5, "...and God said, Ask what I shall give thee." I'm like woah! I was supposed to be the one giving something to Him! God is really good and He is simply the best! In fact, He already had given me many surprises and blessings during the week... I just cannot ask for more! I hope you guys can understand why am I like this. Lol. I am just really overwhelmed by His surprises and blessing to everyone.
So what gift did you receive from God this season? I'm sure all of you are blessed! Thank you for your response! Happy birthday to the Lord! :D

G-d gave me all and gave me H-s best when H- sent H-s S-n to die for my sins! I shouldn't want more, but often I find myself asking for more. I have a great job and I have great kids and grandkids. I have many, many blessings and I should make a resolution for the new year to tell G-d at least one time of each day what I am grateful for!!! Happy birthday Jesus!

Hello sis! If you don't mind me asking.. why does words like "God", "His", & "Son" have dashes?
That's good! But Jesus only wanted us to obey His commands! In John 14:15, He said that if we love Him, we should obey His commands. :) I'm happy that you are happy! :D

Some of the Jewish people leave letters out of the Holy Name so that there can be no misuse of the Name. So I just do it because it seems like a respectable thing to do. I figure that if there is a reason for it, that it won't hurt for me to follow suit!!

That is a good way at seeing that. God blessed me with a better job this week and my husband got some really good news about his job so things are seeming to look up for us this time of year. And all the things God has given us including his son Jesus, that is the best Christmas gift we could ever have this year. We feel very blessed. Merry Christmas.

Ask and you shall receive. In my heart, I was asking to see my oldest son this Christmas. I didn't dare ask directly. He is serving in the military and I didn't want to put the pressure on him to come home over Christmas. But he surprised me with a surprise homecoming. God knew in my heart that I was really missing my oldest son, who I haven't see for so long.
My heart goes out to all those who were without their loved ones over the Christmas holidays. May God protect and bless them.
God knows our hearts as He is a God of love.

What i complain to God of not giving me anything.I am happy with what i possess now. Immense peace i find when i think about the God. This i think is the precious gift i get from the almighty. So it will be a miser to ask more above from this. God knows everything that is who want what at every moment. Because we are the product of his hard work. How could God keeps us in poverty. He always behind us.

i have receive a lot from God, actually. His grace he gave me freely and he saved me. he4 gave me comfort, loved me unconditionally, and gave me wonderful family that loves me truly.
God gave me hope when someone i trust, a man took it all away from me.
God showed me the truth when people lied to me.
God is faithful to me when people cheated on me...
God loved me when people turned their backs on me and chose others whom they think they can benefit more from...
God gave me life when i was but nothing.
See, God sure gave me a lot of gifts that i did not even asked for freely. because he is God, our father in heaven and in Earth.
