Almost hit a fast rabbit

I live in the foothills of the mountains by the city that I live in. The area that I live in is supposed to be kept close to the natural landscape. So we get some wildlife in the area often such as quail, dove, rabbits, etc. The other day I was driving in on the feeder street that goes from the main road into my neighborhood that is made up of several cul-de-sacs and a fast flash of something darted from the right that I barely caught in my peripheral vision and could not see in front of my car. A split second later I saw a white tail disappear into the bushes on the left side of the road. I decided that it could have only been a rabbit moving very fast and barely making it in front of my car without getting hit.

You are living in a wonderful place. Here in my city, the environment is quite good and with hills around the city, but it is very hard for us to see wild animals. Several month ago, an old man was hurt by the wild pig when he did exercise in the morning. Though very sorry for his hurt, many people in the city were excited with the news. We hope wild animals can come back, so that our children can have chances to know them well.
