I was so disappointed with my cooking last Christmas. Although they still ate the food I prepared, I know I could have done better. I was too complacent, and too excited, at the same time, that there were details I missed. I'll only make an ice cream cake for dessert, and I'll leave the pasta cooking to my husband. Then, we'll just buy roasted chicken and pork.
