I have read a couple of financial aid books and according to them investing in stocks is one way that somebody could get rich. I would like to try it but I know it could be very tricky and you can end up losing your investment. I tried to look for information on how to trade stocks but most of the sites I go to ask me to sign up and then download their "free" material which eventually asks me to buy their "bullet-proof-method" on how to earn big money through stock trading. Do you know any info about stock trading that I can get for free?

Hi all! Your facts are not quite right, ivaylo2009. Actually, the minimum amount you can invest in eToro is $50, and if you're planning on starting out with a small investment ($50-$500), it is recommended that you start out by trading microlots. Microlots are lots of 1,000 currency units, which enable you to invest as little as $2.5 per trade. Always remember that by using high leverage you expose yourself to more risk, and that professional traders never invest more than 5% of their account in any one trade. If you invest $25 out of $100 and lose, you then have to earn a 33% return on your remaining $75 just to get back to where you started. FX trading is not gambling, it takes skill, not luck. And if you don't have the skill, then with eToro OpenBook you can copy traders who do! However, simply betting your money on hunches is the quickest way to lose it. You can go to openbook.etoro.com to take a look, no registration required. Happy trading! Andy, eToro Team

I also heard that it is very hard to find a broker that would work hard to make you earn money because most of the brokers nowadays only want to make themselves rich and dont think of their clients' welfare anymore

Two for my friends here in my city are dealing in Stocks and Shares since past many years. Though they have enough money but they are always in tensions related to monies and finances. One of them had suffered a severe loss 5 years back, and was on the verge of giving it up. But he borrowed some more money to invest and now is better off. What if the luck didnt favor him... Personally, I feel that this is quite a calculative thing and if played intelligently with proper backup plans, can help in making some good money in the short run. But I am neither that calculative nor do I have some backup to support me... so I have never thought of getting anywhere close to this... the ones who are into this often say it is as addictive as gambling.

Happy new year ddaguno Wait. What happens in this is - the companies floats some shares. The earnings from the sale of these goes into the functioning of the firm. The price of these shares depends on - the market value of the company. If it is a good company, the sale price of a share is higher than the printed price and if it is not good, the prices are lesser. Now, the company would only get the amount printed on the share. The rest (in excess) goes to the seller of the share. Now, here is how one can make money - Say company X has 10 shares of 10.00 each. X being a good company at the moment, I buy 5 shares @ 20.00 each. Now, one the company betters its performance, over the next few years, I find that I can sell the share @ 50.00 each. So that is the way I make profit on each share. The problem is that the performance of the firm cannot be assured and it cannot be said with guarantee that the dip or rise in the value of shares would be assured. So this is where I have to speculate and that makes it a gamble. Well, I know this is not the best of explanations but that is what I have been told by my friends who are into this. Hope it gives you some idea.

Yes, because that is a cooperative and the main business is lending. We get dividend on a yearly basis. Aside from that I can borrow 3 times the amount I invested.

Making money through stock exchange. It is as easy as a,b,c.But only if you are knowledgeable of. If you know all the pros and cons of share market,if you have knowledge how to trade, then you can easily make money out of it.If you go for share trading, you have to be very carefully regarding it. I and my father both are in share market business. And i know that if you take high risk, then you get high profit. But if you have knowledge and you know all abc of stock market, then your hard earned money will not be in risk. I think you can read the book about share market,"Everything you wanted to know about share market investment."This book will help you a lot. Actually this type of method is necessary for earning huge money. If you want to make your future, then FD or bank will not help you in this case, because they give less interests as compared to share trading. They have minimum interests. But if you go for share trading, then you can make a lot of money. Actually different people have different views about share trading. They think that there hard earned money will lost or they lost their money. But it's not like that. Anyone can trade on share market, but only if he or she knows all about it. You know now the world has been changing. And if you know what is happening in other parts of the world, then you will definitely go for share trading. We are living in the world, where taking risk is becoming our necessity. Everyday we get up early in the morning,go to our offices and work hard and harder to make more money,to get promotion. But we forget and we don't ask questions to ourselves that why do we do this. We have to do jobs in order to earn money, but we should not forget about investments. Share market investment is also called as smart investment. I think you should read book "Rich dad and poor dad". Don't think share market is a risky thing.don't afraid to invest. But whatever you do,do wisely.First gain knowledge about it.And if possible go for share marketing course and invest. Now-a-days people search for safe investment.Safe investments include FD or savings deposite in bank, but if one want to make huge money, then they should go for share trading. My best wishes.

I read Rich Dad Poor Dad and one other book from RK. RDPD was very inspiring but his other books are to 'markety' for me. I'll search the first book the you mentioned and hopefully I get more info

I am happy that you read rich Dad Poor Dad.And you can go for the first book i have mentioned.I bought it online. You too can seacrh that book. That book will tell you all about stock market, trading and even you can know how to trade online. But there are some sites which gives us opportunity to invest online for free. But for online trading, you should have trading software, which will be given by the bank, where you will open your dematerialised account or demat account.

The rich investors do not trade stocks. They invest in stocks, or more accurately, they invest in businesses that will make money for them.

There are so many offices of stock exchange brokers at all important places. we will get a lot of ideas about stock investment chances from them. Then try making a small investment in a good and reputed stock to experience actual nature of stock growth. Online sites aren't good places for newcomers.
