True Faith is Believing In God Alone

Many people say to believe in yourself.
But I say to true Faith is putting your trust in God.
Proverbs 3 vrs. 5 and 6 tells us to Trust in the Lord with all our Hearts and Lean not unto our own understanding but in all ours ways acknowledge him and he shall direct our path.
The first part of this verse instructs us too Trust in the Lord. This means that we have to put our total faith and reliance of God at all times.
We have to cast all our cares on the Lord and have faith That He is able more then able to Move on Our Behalf In All Situations and Circumstances of our Lives.
We just need to Turn Our eyes Upon Jesus And Look Full In Wonderful Face and the Things of Earth Will Grow Strangely Dim In the Light Of His Glory and Grace.
Farther God I ask that you help us to put our total Faith and Trust in you I ask that you help us to give you full control of our lives that we Allow you to take the wheel and Stare our lives into the diraction that you want us to go In Jesus Name I Pray Amen.

We shall have no other gods, but God alone. I believe that our faith in God can only strengthen when we have a relationship with Him. You are right when you say that we cannot lean on our own understanding, for man is weak and make mistakes.

I beg to disagree,friend. Because believe only in God, is not what the bible teaches. The Apostle didn't teach that believe in God,alone is a true faith. Because if we accept that conversation all of us have true faith because all of us believe in God. This belief is contradict with the bible teaches, my friend. Even Satan, believe in God, and do you think he has true faith also?

Faith is believing in things not seen, therefore it needs trust.
Trusting God with all our hearts is true faith.
If we believe in God the Father, we will never have doubts every time we kneel down and pray.

Yes we have to put our trust to God. but remember God empowers us to do things, many things so we will believe also ourselves as God's instrument and God's care taker.

Thank you for your post. I agree that faith is total reliance on God alone. In fact, God wants us to trust him as the source for all our needs. Sometimes, we endure unnecessary stress and burdens because we fail to cast our cares on him. God never told us to solve our own problems, he only commands us to trust him!!!
