A kitchen timer that is when you are cooking. I have been using one alot these days but basically just for timing some boiled water I use almost on a daily basis instead of using bottled or tap water, I will boil a big pot of it on the stove and then add it to a pitcher I have to drink. I do this almost every day to every other. i drink alot of water it seems. I have not had to use it for other things I cook just yet, I just use the clocks here to time anything.

Nope, I just have a knack of when things are finished baking. I do keep an eye on the clock. Then, of course, when it smells like something is burning, I will definitely know it is time to check what is in the oven. :) If I need a timer, I use my cell phone as a kitchen timer. Might as well get multi-use out of my cell.

I do use the timer while cooking, so I remember it's cooking. Sometimes I get doing something or online then forget it's in the oven. My SIL we went over yesterday for my brother's birthday, I was cooking appetizers for her, and I asked about the timer, and she goes I have no ideaI never use it.

I also use a timer for boiling noodles. I also use it to time baking. However, I also use it as a means to keep track of time spent on the computer as the kids are only alotted a turn of only so many minutes. I also use it for time outs as well so they sit in their rooms til they hear the timer go off.
