Will 2013 be different from 2012 ? If so how will it be?

I believe that one is only as great or as happy and content with their life if in fact their life, which is their world is in order, being organize is my determination for 2013. I want to progress and grow and continue towards my goals. The things I started in 2012 I will finish in this year. The desires and dreams I wanted to come true last year but failed to will come true this year in 2013. I feel that setting goals and sticking to them, being persistent and dedicated is what brings one to there ultimate goal in life, be it financial or just spiritual.

Persistence , dedication , you have used words with deep meaning . May I add consistency and sustenance ? I have always admired people with these qualities and wished there was a simple formula to acquire and retain them. Over the last one an half months now I am able to stick to my daily walk routine, but I also remember that over the last two decades since I first took it up , I have quit many a times. I could not be consistent . Sustenance became an issue. Sometimes months if not years have passed when I have regressed to become a couch potato. And yes, I know that, on every such occasion, the effects on my general well being have not been good. I sometimes wonder....... is it not possible to just grit ones teeth and stick to something we know is good ?

Hi Thank you for your comment. I truly admire your honesty completely, that takes a lot of courage to admit to mishaps in ones on life . I love how you ended this response with a question, saying you wonder if it's possible to just grit your teeth and get down to business, sticking with something in hopes of completing it, as suppose to just throwing your hands up and calling it quits. It is possible to stay on task and stick to your goals. Write a to do list and stick to it daily, call it your check list for your do's for today. Make sure you check your list everyday and check off the required things as you complete them one by one . Make a promise and finish what you started. The way I convince myself to stay on task, is I make a promise in good faith to God and once I promise him I do what ever it is to keep that promise cause I hate to disappoint him by making promises that I know I won't keep. So this is my suggestions. All things is worth sticking to because it is your validation that it can be done, even though it was hard and difficult to maintain, but just simply grit your teeth until accomplished!!! :)

It is now my turn to express my gratitude for your words of wisdom. At least the first day of the year I have lived honourably and today I face the second with renewed vigour. Over the past two weeks I am making a "to do" list if I am in office. Over the past one month I keep a mood & event journal. Things which record what happened to me the day before and what my intentions are today. Looking back I find that way back in the past I had started the same but somehow did not keep up and things went adrift. This time I am back on my resolve to do it again consistently. Till the world as I view it changes. Till I stop living for myself and can dedicate every moment of my living life to the service of humanity. Bcoz that is the only thing that the GOD within me has been silently but fervently imploring me to do for a long long time. That is the only way to sustainably attain salvation for me.

I will to make 2013 different from the previous . Previous year , i am always in bad and sad mood . I will try to make something to improve it ! Wish i really could ! So boring and lousy to be sad , melancholic always but sometimes no choice for you because some people wanted you to be in that phase . This New year , wish tide is already on my side so i can smile also .

Hi Angelpink, I'm sorry to hear that the majority of the time you spend your days sad or not in a great mood. I'm here to tell you that it will get better. You are only as happy as you allow yourself to be. Surround yourself around positive people, I can't stress that enough, negative people will bring your spirits down, You can try changing up your environment, for example starting with your house, a room in particular, Go out and decorate it with vibrant colors, say with a new bed set with a nice color to uplift your mood, try going to the nail salon and getting your nails done, making it look very catchy and appealing to the eye. How about going to have some love on yourself time for a day or two, where you just go to the gym to let off frustration and depression, also go get your hair done and buy you a outfit and a pair of shoes. Just speak positive things over yourself daily read quotes from the bible and build a relationship with God the father and Pray to Jesus daily. Doing all of these things will improve your situation and believing in yourself no matter what the circumstances appear to be, long as you have breath in your body then there is still a way and future and a hope that lies in you, but you gotta believe it. God bless and Happy New Year.!!!:)
