OK this patch on her skin isn't healing on her side and it might heal better if I put something I have on her that I have been using for her neck on the top but she can't lick it off. I have ordered from eBay one of those plastic animal collars so she doesn't get to it, Elizabethan I believe it's spelled. It is a medium so I hope it fits, it has velcro to adjust it with, too. Less than $10. total including shipping so I just hope it gets here quick. I'd probably have to pay like $50.+ at the vet for one, but am just afraid of the time it takes to get here and the size right now. I am hoping now I won't get critisized for that. My mom finds anything and everything to criticize over, even if it something to help. So if she does I will just have to ignore it and consider the source. Ugh. Why do some people just love to cause more stress. She will probably be there saying aw the poor thing, how could you do this to her, blah blah blah. But she doesn't realize it is helping her and keeping her from licking the medicine off! Doh. I am trying to distract her from licking that spot by giving her her vitamins on her paw so she licks that off enough during the day cause I have to give her a 5 inch ribbon of that per day due to her size.

Hello Nailtech, I hope that the elizabethan collar arrives soon, it will surely help your kitty heal faster. I`ve got many good things from ebay. Don`t worry for your mother, sometimes we, moms, are already worried and stressed for so many things and expenses, moms, we are that kind of stressed women. I`m sure your mom loves you so much, and she is proud of you. Just continue trusting your good decisions. Blessings Nailtech... dainy

I hope it does too. My mom is already saying other things like she will fall down the stairs ( my other cat did one time with it on her) and yet I don't have any other option. I have to keep her off the stairs somehow. She mostly only uses the upstairs stairs to run up there once in awhile and not everyday.

Well, I hope this helps. Your mother sounds like a character. She doesn't have to deal with what is going on.

We sell those at work, a variety of them the cheapiest is $8.99 here, and you can bring the animal in to try it on or you can buy a few sizes, and bring it back if they don;t fit. The best thing is to stop her from licking, as it will just irritate it more. My grandma would do the samething. She constantly tells me how much I waste on my animals. Yetm she locks hers in one room, and in cages. But this how they did it back in the day, and nothing else is right.
