Thanks to youtube there are many hidden talents that have been discovered and it's so amazing how good they are. I can sing a bit and some say I'm pretty good but i'm nowhere near as good as some of them. How I wish I could play an instrument and sing as good as them... there is this girl.. Melissa Polinar... and she really is WOW. I'm just confused how some people can be really good while some cant sing a single proper tune. When I listen to these great singers I cant help but feel jealous that I am not as good as them. If ever I have children I'll make sure that they have what they need to become great in whatever they're good at.

Hi ddaguno, you should not beat yourself up because you have something the musician wishes she has,we look at other people and don't realise that we also have our own gifts worth being envied, just keep being strong and you will come see you are special at something too.

Hi ddaguno Instead of feeling jealous, why not try to use the skills that you have or even how about trying out to learn an instrument which interests you or even taking classes to perfect your singing? Jealousy is good at times and if you can use it the right way, it can do wonders for you or anyone... I have always believed that if someone out there can do it, I can do it too and if it suits me and I feel comfortable with it, why not give it a try!

i sing in church so my talent is not completely useless but I doubt that I can be as good as those with covers on Youtube I'm thankful for what I have. I am slightly jealous but it's no biggie

maybe its because of the kind of music that your country is used to. Cultural difference must make a really big different. they could probably sing as well but just sound differently

I have heard some good voices on youtube as well. I sing too, I just don't have the guts to do it in front of other people so it does me no good at all having a talent...

well at least you can sing lullabies to your babies. but why dont you try and sing in front of a few people first then when you get used to it you would prabably be able to sing to bigger crowds. who knows, someday you might even have concerts
