We all are absolutely tired of our weekly ups and downs. So Sunday is a day where we start thinking about new things and something good to eat. After all in the entire week we end up eating what we don't like. So today any of you have some special plans? Be it cooking something special or ordering something from out for a change, or making something really good? Or making someone else cook in the kitchen? Let's make this an interesting topic here. Well today i have ordered some creamy chicken waffles and char grilled chicken burger for my dinner as i don't feel like getting up and preparing something. Even if i am not well today i still feel like eating something heavy i can't go for bland food more.

Hmmm... so you ordered creamy chicken waffles and char grilled chicken burger. Now I see why you have a problem losing your weight. LOL. I also usually have Sunday dinner plans but I prefer something lighter. Since I'm very conscious I gave up eating that's not made in my home, I also gave up eating anything baked, fried etc. But I still experiment with foods on Sunday since I have a lot of time on Sunday. I love food my mom makes and I demand some great recipes from her on Sunday. We enjoy eating new recipes on Sunday.

LOL as you said you love to enjoy food on Sunday, so do i. I don't keep eating all the year round a char grilled burger. My whole week is on boiled lentils and egg and hardly any carbs. So i think i take Sunday as my feast day

Boiled lentils and eggs for the whole week? Don't you get bored? You can always try new recipes which are not only healthy but will also help you lose your weight. Enjoy your feast, I just did. My mom made mixed vegetable curry and parathas today. I'll never be able to express how tasty it was and how much I enjoyed it. We also had strawberry shake after the meal. I'm the happiest guy in the world, Hooray!

Hi Archie, I too am lazy to cook for dinner so I told my husband to get some chats. He bought and we already had it lol. So I dont have any plans to cook now.. just relax with mylotting for sometime and once my son wakes up feed him some food and play with him sometime. Once he sleeps I too will go and sleep.

If it were a Sunday today, then yesterday was market day, Saturday in our town. As usual, meat and vegetables are stuffed in the ref again and groceries were were also bought by my wife. We don't plan our recipe but before on ever cooks, suggestions are solicited from the family of four which is which to cook and how.

i prefer doing special meals on saturdays because sunday evenings people are anxious about school and work monday morning plus they need to go to bed early so they dont enjoy the meal like saturday when they are more relaxed.

The sunday is always different.Usually I get up lately. My wife and I like to cook some delicious food, such as roasting fish.We do not like to order anything,we like to cook something ourselves.I like the sunday, because it is a day where we start thinking about new things exactly.

hi, me and my hubby make it a point that on Sundays, special dishes must be prepared, prepared and cooked either by me or him. it's only during Sundays that we, as a family get together. my kids are grown up already (one is 22, and the other is 20, both working) and we don't get to be with them as often as we want (except during dinners). we usually prepare their favorite food. or if one them requested, then we'll try to prepare it.

Every Sunday is the same for us here.It is like tradition, we all sit together having a roast dinner. My husband is the one who always cooks the roast for our dinner. I feel that we have both grown up having a family Sunday lunch, so that is just the way that we are and it is really nice to all be here together as well, like family should be.
