Why Kokomo and not other name?

I love to sing. It is my passion since I was still a kid and one song catches my heart is the song that I am using now as my username "kokomo". I started to love it when I heard my mother singing this song. At first, it was foreign to my ears but then as my mother always sings it , I find it pleasing to my ears and so every time I attended parties with videoke, this song always comes first to my mind and I did sing it. Some were also amazed with that song because it is not usual to play. It is a lively song so anyone who can hear this song might dance with its rhythm. The singer of this song are "The Beach Boys". My classmates then called me Kokomo after they heard me singing that song.I found it cute so from then on I used that name as my pet name.

Hello Kokomo. I like your name. Actually I have this name already. It was mentioned in a lesson that I used to teach. The word "Kokomo" was mentioned as food. I didn't look up the meaning or fact about it but it sounds so cute. Am glad that you used it.

Wow!!! Quite interesting, and for me a song I remember quite well, and one I really enjoyed. Personally this is actually a good nickname to have, and I am sure there are others out there who envy you because of this.

hi,
i have a friend who also like that,she also used a unique name and when i asked her she said that he got from the music she heard when she was a kid,because her parents always sing this song,i can't remember now the name she used because even me is not familiar with that song.

really interesting story behind your pet name. I liked it. some we ill/may be inspired by many stories as a child but memories are still with us while some are lost. This is what happened with you as well.
I never heard the song but as you provided the name and the album i will try to search and listen to find it sounds.

What a cute name! I always wished that I had chosen a nice nickname. My screen name is something that friends always call me and each other. I am not very creative when it comes to nicknames.
Kokomo is not only a catchy song, but it is a cute thing to call someone.
