a friend of mine who is like one of my spiritual friend told me that she is using the treadmill everyday. She is already near her menopausal stage and she told me it helps a lot on her part because it helps balance her hormones and release her happy hormones, endorphines... i actually believe her as i have read stuff about how important exercise is as we get old so i am planning in enrolling in a gym just a few minutes was from my office, i could go there before or after work.. anyone here who uses the mill too? or jogs? or has been through what my friend is going through, i really like her advise as i know she is doing it too!

For me it's better to jog or run, because you can have fresh air, that helps for our breathing. While the mill is inside our house. But of course it is from my own point of view.

I jog a lot in the summer and hang up my shoes in the winter. I just don't want to be slipping and falling in the winter with all the snow and ice. I would love to get a treadmill and actually priced them today. I would be happy with a cheaper model, but it's still nice at $300.00 at Walmart. I've been waiting for a nice treadmill to come into the goodwill where I shop but nothing as of yet. Usually in January people are buying those things, so I just might get lucky towards the end of the month and January when people start replacing the equipment they have. I am post menopausal and I know that exercising really helps me. It's hard to keep the weight off now that I'm getting older and I feel like I have to work twice as hard as before. I miss having access to a gym too. I would love to get a membership to the YMCA. I would go there before work to start my day off right

I think I just want to invest in a home gym! I could invest in a home gym for the cost of a one year membership at a health club, and I would be able to use it anytime I wanted.

If the magic day is near, it is inevitable that the hormones will be imbalance. The sad thing, when the time comes of no period anymore. The progesterone level will be decrease its level. There will be no enough hormones to maintain the youth of a woman. Unless, the woman will ingest hormone medications.

I don't know whether it is advisable to use treadmill in menopausal stage. But i was using it before some years when i joined a gym.But now i left the gym,not forever. My work pressure has increased,so i don't have time to go for it.But it helps a lot.And i am also planning to buy a new treadmill in my home.

I love running and sometimes use treadmills, especially in the winter. When I first started running I started with brisk walking with that elevation thing. A treadmill is soft unlike a road which is hard. It's a lot easier to get used to running by starting with a treadmill and it's also pretty good for interval training. Good luck.

I think using treadmills is great. When I go to the gym, I often use the treadmill when I do not feel like using weights. For the most part, I often jog in the summer. And for the other seasons, I usually use the treadmill because I do not have to worry about the weather conditions inside the gym.
