14 year old who killed herself over Justin Beiber

I saw on facebook a news link about a 14 year old girl who saw the photos of Justin Beiber smoking pot and there was a trending topic on twitter called #cutforbeiber. The girl cut herself (not entirely sure what they were cutting about, other than Justin) and she comitted suicide. It makes me wonder where were this girl's parents? It also makes me wonder what state of mind the girl was in to do something like this. I just don't get it... Frankly, I think it's ridiculous.

These stories are horrible. First of all, how come a topic like that CAN trend on twitter? I know, people should know better than following these stuff, but most teens are really vulnerable and easy to manipulate, and they might not think with their right mind when they feel insecure... Then, really, where ARE parents? They should have taught their kids not to act like someone else says who they don't know, or something like that...

I agree, where are their parents?! And yes, people should know better than to follow, share, like, etc. things like this. I suppose most people just do it for the attention. I shared it on here because I just thought it was absolutely crazy and stupid. Now I'm thinking maybe it was all a hoax which is even more disturbing. Why would someone make up a story like this?

It is not just ridiculous, it is an absolute foolishness on her part to do that. Giving up your own life for Justin Beiber, how much more stupidity can she go and show to the world by doing that, it is the dumbest thing a girl can do for him.

Some girls are so fond about the celebrity, as you have described about a girl end her life for Justin Bieber. I don't know the real reason, but I think it is way over the top situation. Perhaps that girl is having manifestation of mental illness and triggered by killing herself.
