There is a big possibility that Pacquiao will see boxing action in the ring come April this year. His opponent will either be WBA welterweight champion SENCHENKO of Ukraine or Jessie VARGAS of the US, with the staged being planned in Dubai, Singapore or Macau. What do you think of Pacquiao's career? He's already 34.

yeah. i thought so. he can do it. but i think he has to retire from boxing. and focus on his career as a public servant. i know he has a big heart for his constituents.

What could be the big reason why he should retire from boxing and focus his career as public servant?

He must overhaul everything both physical and emotional. Physique, emotion and everything are brought by a boxer to the fighting arena and all of these need sharpening. Like you, I am convinced Pacquiao still has it.

yes, when all resources in his boxing arsenal got dry it's time for him to say amen. Desires, ambitions and all carnal wishes vanish when the physical body dictates so. So gather hay while the sun shines.

I think that Jesse Vargas would be a good fight for him. I also believe a rematch with Timothy Bradley would suffice. However, he definitely needs to stay away from Marquez. Although I like Pacquiao, I'm concerned about his career at this point. That was a vicious knockout he suffered at the hands of Marquez, and I'm just not sure if he will ever be the same after that. For his sake I hope he can, but he has already proven himself to be a great fighter. He has nothing else left to prove.

Time will tell. Let's leave everything for Pacquiao to do all the decisions. You've shown your great respect to the boxer and thank you for the share. Many happy returns of the day.

Its nice to know that he has started to look for other matches aside fro those he have "fought" with. I just hope that he learned some very good lessons from his recent bout. Also, maybe he should start getting his priorities straight. He's got some really good platforms and projects in his public office, and I think he's got a good career in boxing (still). He's not getting any younger so I think for his family, it's time for him to focus on less bloody means of livelihood. But it's just me and my opinion, what do I really know in the world of boxing.

We are all here enjoying the freedom of the press and possess all the rights to say opinions. Yours is a valid one and who knows through the wings of time Pacquiao may heed your advise.

Glad to see him be back, and against someone other than Marquez.

Because of lost glory Pacquiao is bent on regaining it even if Marquez' retirement plan materializes.
