Before the cut-off date, I was really motivated to post discussions here becaus I am just few dollars away fromt he minimum earning for the payout. Now after the cut-off date, I tend to be less motivated in posting discussions. Furthermore, I cannot think of a good topic here. This is one of the reason why until now, I haven't reached the minimum payout earning.
How about you mylotters, do you feel the same? How do you keep motivated and think of good topic here in mylot? Good day mylotters.

There was a time when I needed American money so all my efforts was to earn here but now since I do not have to earn American money so I take it easy. Only participate in as many discussions as I am in mood of. Some days not even one some day 6 to 10 but not more than than. I love to take it easy now.

Well when ever I am on mylot I make sure I search a lot of web on mylot, this way they pay me 20 cents after few searches. This can be 6$ a month. I search till they tell me they beleive i am doing suspicious activity and ban my search for few hours daily. This i do daily

Yes, that is really against the rules and regulations of mylot. You might get suspended by doing that. I know that it helps in earning something but it is a violation against the rules and regulations.

Last month, my excitement was really hightened because I was just few amounts for the minimum earning few days before the cut-off. I was really motivated and keep on thinking good topics for discussions. However, after that, I did not reach the minimum earning and lowered my excitement. Now that half month had already past, I was again motivated to keep on participating here in mylot to reach the minimum earning.

I feel mylot friends is what makes me to motivate here and come and do something over here. I could ask you to maintain good relation with mylot friends. So that you will be much interested to be here and this will make you motivated.

I agree to both of you. There are times I just keep on reading discussions but not in the mood to write my response. Like what you said, sometimes, we can learn something from others experience. Furthermore, one thing to help us motivated here in mylot is the fun that we can get by having discussions with other. Like alxerate said, the payment is low but the enjoyment we can get here is one of the best thing we can get.

I agree, the community also gives me some inspiration to do writing, and I enjoy reading their experiences, their emotions and how they cope their difficulties in life. There's a lot reasons and disadvantages you'll experience while your here in this site, the pay is low, and its really time consuming and etc... But for me this is not the main point for me to be here although it is great to earn big here right and I'm also looking forward for it too, but my focus right now is just to learn. :)
I hope mylot will update their site, make it more beautiful and more faster, and I also hoping that they put a new paradigm where we can earn more by just writing our interest.

What keeps me motivated today in doing some responds and a little bit of my own discussion is my need for practicing English, I just happened learned that I can write English now differently, a little bit good than before. That's why I'm keeping writing until I get use in using this language. The pay here is lower than the last past two years I think, before I can make about 0.50 a day but now it's only 0.24, its terrible but this is not really my goal right now, but kind of good if they raise it a bit right, I'm more focus for my brain to hone in English language. :)

That is a good motivation why you keep on participating here in mylot. Same here, I felt that my english improves a bit. Another way to improve your english is by making an English blog. All your post there must primarily have English language like mine.
If theya re going to increase the earning amount abit, it will really be great.

My problem is not about the topic but the time. I am working the whole day and I am also trying to write more articles on my other site. But I still visit the site because I also enjoy interacting with our friends here.

That is one good thing here in mylot, enjoying interacting with other members. One good suggestion that you can do is to post your topic every morning and during your breaktimes, you can go back to them and respond if you can. That is what I am doing right now. Most of my earnings for this cut-off is coming from the said technique.

I also feel struggle to create a good topic to discuss. I just create a topic which is only me know about it and then i just get a few responses. To keep me always motivated i always have a fun with my friend here.

That is one of a great motivation here in mylot. Just enjoy having conversation with your friends.
Like waht you said, I also experiencing difficulties in thinking of a good topic that I think will generate many response from other members. There are times, that I cannot think of a good one.

i think lots of people in mylot replace their reguler diary with interactive diary with mylot which is they wrote diary here and even knowing how the response and impacts what they wrote.
We can not do that in reguler dairy in a book right. It's like forum, interactive chat, it's like everybody in around you and can listening what you said.

Yes, there are some memebers here that use mylot like a status updater. They keep on posting everything that happened to them just to get response. I am not that kind so I keep on thinking as much as possible the best discussion I can give here.

Good for you that now you got moe time in participating here. Unlike mine, I was really busy last month until now. There are some projects in my work that are left unimplemented last year and now is the time we are trying to pursue and continue those projects. I tried to have mylot at home after work but there are lot of crochet items ordered by our online customers.

Well sometimes you cannot see it as a job online for you. Yes we make money here, but once you start trying to make money and keep looking for that cut off date, so that you can get paid you will become less motivated. You will be more motivated once the cut off date gets closer and closer and then after you will be less. I would think of this as a nice place to be and just participate when you can. I have been here for a while and still have not made my first payout, because either I work at other places or I am just on here when I can. I really do not see it as a job or anything, but if you add more interests and stuff like that then I am sure that you will be more motivated again. Just talk and have fun. Good Luck!!!

Just like what you said, I felt that too. Thanks for sharing your idea. I am not full-time here because I am a full time employee too. I just took my breaktimes in participating here. I will try to absorb your suggestion, just have fun.

The best thing you can do when you come in here ts just to have fun, and the earnings will come, as you will do better when you don't worry worry about them. I know i do, as they go up everyday that I am in here. I have never come to the point where I am less motivated, as I just have fun in here, and enjoy myself. I did take a little time off from here though, and I did miss all the fun I had before, and all that time, it wasn't that I wasn't motivated, it was just that i had other things to do, and just couldn't find the time to come in here. Now, I have decided that i want to do devote more time in here. Take care, and have fun in here.

Just like others said, better enjoy the fun here and not the earning you can get will be the best motivation that you can use in keeping you more active everyday here in mylot.
As much as I want to stay here for longer time, I can't because I am working full-time and I am just using my breaktimes here.

I am just having more fun here than usual so I am really not worrying about the earnings as much which definitely helps keep me motivated! I post things that happen in my life so I do not usually run out of things unless my life is especially boring for a while. Lol. Which does not usually happen...

@Loving babies, it is really what mylot is, more of fun rather than earning. I was just excited before the cut-off if I can make it or not. That makes me more motivated to participate here and after the cut-off, I tend to be less motivated and again before the cut-off, the excitement goes back.
@echo, I guess you are right, just keep on think mylot as a fun place in the net rather than earning site.

Last December, I doubled time for a few days in order to reach my second payout. My earning here isn't much important because I just save it up in my paypal account. But since it is a few dollars away then, I have the urge to rach for it. Yes, I did reached it and I know I am included in this months payout.
There are really days when my mind seems blank and I have nothing to respond. So what I do is just read and check my friends page.
This is a good topic.

I do not flux in motivation very often. I don't get more motivated when the deadline for the month is coming up because mostly the site is so consistent and I can be consistent also, I don't need to rush at all to earn well or reach the cash out in one month.
I see a trend during the end of the month where people seem to be rushing for the cash out. I can understand, in a way, if you are getting close. However if they hadn't lost their motivation to participate through out the month then they wouldn't have to rush at all.

I agree with you, in my case, I was procrastinating before the month ends because I was just couple of dollars away. but it is not yet enough since holiday season makes me busy at home.
You are right, if you are motivated everyday to participate here in mylot, you won't need to rush before the cut-off.

I haven't really reach that much payout and haven't experience any yet but before I was really enthusiastic and excited to start new discussions but as now I'd prefer participating to any discussion that is in my interest.
I get inspire to start a new discussion when I think it will be fun, gives another informative details to our fellow lotters and if i have questions and wants to see different points of view from the others. I hope it will help you to be motivated to post some discussions again. Happy lotting!

I think you can try thinking of some discussions that you might think will catch the attention of many. By having enough responds to comment on, you can earn more.
